We started a YouTube Channel!

We have some exciting news to share….we started a YouTube Channel! Just typing that makes us squeal and also fill instantly with so much anxiety. Over the past few months we have fallen in love with vlogs and videography. We binge watched over 500 episodes of our favorite travel vloggers Kara and Nate and felt inspired to share more of our adventures, beyond just photos and words with the world. The only big change for Adventures of A+K with the start of this channel is that we will be replacing our super long trip recap blogs (we get a tad wordy lol) with vlogs and creating short blogs with each video + “notes” (sort of like podcast show notes) so you can not only see what we did, but also have useful links to all of the restaurants we ate at, coffee we drank, hikes we did, and where we stayed. We will still be writing blogs about travel topics, as well as creating travel guides and resources, so there will still be tons of awesome travel content for the PNW and beyond!

We have SO many fun and big things planned for the next year that we cannot wait to share with y’all–you won’t want to miss it! You can watch out our welcome vlog below and view our channel here (but please be nice, we’re still getting the hang of it and they’ll definitely get better!). Hi y’all! We’re Adam, Kathryn, and Kona, an adventurous married couple (+ pup!) living on the road in our self-converted sprinter van! And that is a wrap on our six weeks in Vietnam. 🇻🇳

Trying to find the words to explain how much this trip meant to us seems impossible. Everytime I think about our trip, I get emotional because it was just so incredibly special and as cheesy as it sounds, life changing.

Vietnam is an AMAZING country! It is full of lively cities, charming small towns, kind people, breathtaking scenery, unique activities, and important history. It pushed us a tad out of our comfort zone at times, opened our eyes about other ways of life, and gave us some of the best experiences of our lives. Getting to spend six weeks in one country vs. trying to visit many within that timeframe really allowed us to explore at a much deeper level than we have before.

To all of the amazing people we met, thank you for being so welcoming to us, teaching us about your culture and history, and giving us memories that we will cherish forever.

We love you Vietnam. ❤️ You now hold such a special place in our hearts and we cannot wait to return someday.
