Located in Southeastern New Mexico, Carlsbad Caverns National Park sits right on the border of Texas. The closest airport is El Paso International Airport in El Paso, Texas and takes about 2.5 hours to drive from there.

The caverns are 56º year round, so it really doesn’t matter when you visit, the weather will always be the same!

Timed entry tickets are required to enter the caverns. You can purchase and make the reservation in advance (recommended), or wait until you arrive at the visitor center to reserve an entry time.
