Who We Are

Hi Y’all! We’re Adam and Kathryn, an adventurous married couple living in Seattle and soon to be living on the road in a sprinter van! You can often find us driving all around the PNW on the weekends, cuddling our fur child Kona, scoping out the best coffee shops, eating tacos, climbing mountains, and dreaming about Hawaii.

Where We're From

Around two years ago we lived in Austin, TX and knew we wanted a change. After a well timed job layoff (the BIGGEST blessing in disguise!), we packed up all of our belongings and moved across the country to Seattle. It was a scary risk to leave behind all of our families, friends, and where we had called home most of our lives, but it has been the best decision we’ve ever made! (After getting married and adopting Kona of course!)

What We Do

We're here to show you how to make travel planning a whole lot easier. Sharing our adventures with all of you brings us so much joy and we hope that Adventures of A+K inspires you to get out and explore, even with little time or money to do so. Thank you for following along with our adventures--the best is yet to come!

How We Do It

When we aren't working our 9-5 jobs, we spend every weekend road-tripping, hiking, and enjoying the beautiful scenery all around the PNW (and beyond!). Since shifting our lives to be focused on adventure, we’ve hiked over 600 miles, visited 4 countries and many states, and explored 15 National Parks. We sacrifice sleep, eating out, new clothes, and other luxuries in order to make all of this happen, and it has been 100% worth it!
