We spent over 3 months traveling all around Atlantic Canada in our self-converted Sprinter van, visiting many of the popular sites, plus off the beaten path gems along the way. And instead of rushing through these areas like most people are forced to on vacation, we traveled slowly, allowing us to experience them more as locals. Because of this, we have tons of tips to help you plan your own Atlantic Canada adventure, whether it’s just for a week or for multiple months.

What season is this eBook best for?

Atlantic Canada can be visited year-round, but your experience will heavily vary depending on the season.

We personally visited Atlantic Canada from June through October and this eBook is specifically crafted for the summer through fall season. This is when you can ride tidal bore rapids, lay out at the beach, go on snow free hikes, and see wildlife, like whales and puffins. Plus, this is when many seasonal businesses are open, making the visitor experience even better.

While you could visit anytime during this timeframe and have an amazing experience, each province does have specific activities and events to be aware of during these months, like icebergs and fun events, which can help you narrow down your visit even further.

What fitness level is required?

While you can see a lot of the natural beauty of Atlantic Canada just from the car, there are also many areas that require some hiking. Our goal is to make this trip doable for anyone, so we try to provide a variety of trail options, ranging from easy to challenging, so you can customize your own adventure.

Don’t you have Atlantic Canada blogs on your website for free?

Yes we do! But this eBook shares all of our Atlantic Canada knowledge in an easy to download and print format, so you can view it offline. It’s also ad free, making the viewing experience much easier! Plus, you get to help support our small business, which allows us to create even more free content.
