Italy Days 1 & 2: The Dolomites

WOW, Italy is GORGEOUS! We spent the first two days of our two week Italy trip in the Dolomites at four of the most beautiful spots we have ever laid on our eyes on: Lago di Braies, Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Lago di Sorapis & Seceda. From a beautiful sunrise, snacks at a refugio, beating crowds, 360 degree views, a hiking mishap, and the BEST Airbnb hosts ever, this was one of the most memorable couple days of our lives and the best way to kick off our trip!

Hey! I have a plan to go to Seceda and Lago di Braies on October. Do you know any Bus to go there? I stay in Cortina and have a plan not to rent a car.

We are currently in the Dolomites and plan to hit Seceda tomorrow. Do you know which loop you did or are there any you’d recommend?

Hi Kathleen! We kind of just wandered around to be honest. We made it to Baita Troier and then Pieralongia before turning around.
