National Park

With almost 4 million visitors a year, Yosemite is the 6th most visited National Park in the United States. And it’s easy to see why!

With towering granite peaks and sheer cliffs, impressive waterfalls, wildlife, giant sequoias, scenic drives, and stunning lakes, the park is considered by many to be the most beautiful in the country.

YOSEMITE At a Glance

$35 per vehicle for 3 days. Or FREE with the America the Beautiful pass.

Reservations are required for park entry on specific days and during specific times from April-October. Learn more here.

In our opinion, mid-June, late-August, and September are a great time to visit to be able to access all areas of the park.

Different Areas of the Park

Yosemite National park is split up into 5 major areas: Yosemite Valley, Glacier Point, Wawona and Mariposa Grove, Hetch Hetchy, and Tioga Road. And each area offers a different experience and vantage point of the park!

Warning: it can take quite some time to drive between each area (usually around an hour one way), so it’s best to stick to one, maybe two areas per day.
